There was a time where women stood together in a bond of sisterhood, women supporting women.

As women embrace the fullness of who they are as individuals, they may find themselves supporting other women, helping others to reach the level of inner comfort and outer freedom that they themselves have found. Among those who are less sure of themselves and their place in the world, it may be more common to criticize other women than to seek their help. But there are things that a woman can only learn from another woman, as there are things about being a man that can only be learned from other men. We all recognize that we have much to learn from each other regardless of gender, but sometimes we could use a supportive role model that gives us a more precise example of what and who we can become.

There was a time where women stood together in a bond of sisterhood, women supporting women. It is only natural that the pendulum swings out of balance for a while so that we may have the experience of what we do not want. It is up to women to bring the pendulum back into balance and bring back the sacred sisterhood we yearn for at our core.

If we envision a world where women support each other and help each other find their place in an ever-changing world, then we can become the change we want to see. Jealousy, envy, criticism, and judgment are refuges for the insecure. As we help others to become self-assured, we create a world in which all people help each other, regardless of gender. Only women can make the change in how women are seen and understood, not just by other women but by the world at large. The way we speak about each other to other women and to the men in our lives informs everyone to treat us with the respect that all women, and all people, deserve.

This is sooooooooooooooooo true…It is something that explains to me a lot of stuff I was wrestling with in the past… cause there is not that much difference between leadership and being a good leader and D/s and being a Dom…  And if you don’t understand the needs of those you are leading you’ll never be a good leader… if you don’t understand the needs of your submissive you will (in my eyes) never be a good Dom (for him of her…) wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Ik vond vanmorgen een quote die echt zo vreselijk, verschrikkelijk waar is (in mijn ogen…)

“Leiderschap zou moeten voortkomen uit begrip voor de behoeften van hen die er door worden beïnvloed”

Dat is nu wat je noemt een waarheid als een koe… en het verklaard al die dingen waar ik ooit mee worstelde… Ik denk niet dat er veel verschil is tussen een goede leider (of bijvoorbeeld werkgever) zijn en een D/s relatie waarbij de een ook duidelijk de leider is en de ander geleid wordt… echt dus een wowwwwwwwwww wowwerdewowwowwow moment…

Ik heb een aantal linkjes aangepast… dit omdat weblog.nl meende van alles te moeten aanpassen en veranderen en overzetten… HH en Morgaine hebben hun logs helemaal verwijderd… 12je{F} haar log en ook mijn oude log zijn volledig door de molen gegaan… van mijn oude blog staat er zowat niets meer… met dank aan weblog… yikes…  en dat is een besluit dat ik zelf had willen nemen…

dus ter herinnering……

making plans for the end of the year… Christmass and New Year spending with those we love…

and my Love is not playing his guitar for me alone anymore… even public appearances… 2 weeks ago… and then again one tomorrow… and I am soooooooooo proud of him

my little niece is doing wonderfull…looking more like her aunt every day… *wicked smile*  my poor brother….

this weekend… we are gonna enjoy the wonderfull warm sunshine together…

de laatste tijd wat stil geweest…. erg erg druk op mijn werk… wat gezondheidsgedoe beide… veel gedoe op het werk van mijn lief… en dan familie… maar samen komen we overal doorheen… soms kijken we elkaar aan en zeggen of denken we hetzelfde op dat moment… een siamese tweeling…. oftewel twinflames… maar dat voelt goed…

net als plannen maken… momenteel ook voor het eind van het jaar…. Kerst en Oud & Nieuw bij de mensen die we liefhebben en koesteren…

en mijn Lief speelt tegenwoordig niet alleen voor mij gitaar maar in het openbaar… en iedereen vind het goed… ik zeker!!!

mijn kleine nichtje doet het fantastisch… ze gaat meer en meer op mij lijken…. (mijn arme broertje…lol)

en dit weekeind… gaan we genieten van de zon… mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Been looking back in time a bit, sometimes we need to do so to remember indeed that what we have now was once only a dream… a dream I thought would be very hard to come true… and now we’re living that dream… Teaches me to be truly gratefull….  Guess it’s human nature to keep your dreams and desires and once one is fullfilled to find new ones… I’ve never been so happy before as I am nowadays in my whole life… and it’s good to remember…

“Bederf niet wat je hebt door te verlangen naar wat je niet hebt; onthoud dat wat je nu hebt ooit hoorde bij de dingen waar je alleen maar op kon hopen”.  De Nederlandse vertaling van bovenstaande uitspraak…  Hele wijze woorden, zeker als je zo af en toe eens terugblikt naar waar je een paar jaar terug enkel op kon hopen, nauwelijks van durfde dromen… Wellicht is het menselijk om als een droom uitkomt weer een nieuwe droom te dromen… maar het is goed te onthouden dat je gelukkig bent, gelukkiger dan je ooit was…. en ooit durfde hopen en dromen….
